You might end up sending an email from CCMDB.accdb from a location where you might not have network cable or wifi.

When you do, CCMDB.accdb will hang up when you try to generate a colour.

To make sure you can generate emails while off-line, follow these steps. You will need to do this the first time you use a laptop where you have not done this yet.

  1. Click the “file” tab in Outlook (see red circle in screen shot below)
  2. Click the “Account Settings” button, then "Account Settings"
  3. Click "Change..."
  4. Make sure that "Use Cached Exchange Mode" is checked
  5. Click "Next", then "Finish"
  6. you may now need to wait for Outlook to set up the data it needs to run off the network
  7. Click "Close"

After this you should be able to generate and send emails even when not connected to the network. They will be processed when Outlook next has a network connection.

The steps also make available the little green and red icon below in the purple circle. You should not have to do anything with that, just FYI.
