Starting October 2009 STB is making changes to medicine wards beds. See STB_B5#Historical_Information and STB_E6_B#Historical_Information for details as to what changed.

Program changes required

  • CCMDB.accdb
    • S_Var options (variable 1 & 2)
    • S_Tmp_moves_required
    • S_Locations

Julie's SAS programs changed as follows for Location, Moves, Variable 1 & 2

  • B5 + E6 = E6
  • B4 + 5B = 5B
    • Implications -
  • Option 1 retain label for Var 1 & 2 (ward label) and Julie change report output label.
  • Option 2 change ward label in S tables for HanDBase & Access, programmer write code to remap all Var 1 & 2 codes in MEDTMX, Julie rewrite SAS codes.
  • the "move" data in tmpv2 is also affected.
  • MOVE data in TmpV2 as of October 19.09:
    • no moves to E6
    • B5-total number - 2196 moves recorded as of Oct 19.09
    • B4- total number - 401 moves recorded as of Oct 19.09
  • Var 1 - total number of codes with B4 in field:
    • 59
  • Var 1 - total number of codes with B5 in field:
    • 520
  • Var 1 - total number of codes with E6 in field:
    • 8 (Pagasa to recode to EE6)
  • Var 2 - total number of codes with B4 in field:
    • 915
  • Var 2 - total number of codes with B5 in field:
    • 115
