Legacy Data in regards to ventilator items for TISS76-Respiratory.

• T72 & 72 - (Jan 1.02 Heparin sq & coumadin po DC’d from this list)
• T26, 27, 28 Two issues:

1. There was a discrepancy on the original collection form. The person who created form for TELEFORM and PROGRAMMER had different Row numbers and labels. T27 label separated on two rows T27&T28. 2. ventilator groupings "compacted to items T29 & T30 by Dr. Carla Chrusch, Roberts and Light in May 2000. TOstryzniuk 18:53, 14 July 2008 (CDT)

• OLD LABELS on TISS FORM:
  • T27 - Controlled ventilation: blank row on TISS form
  • T28 - with or without PEEP =4 pts
  • T29 - with intermittent continuous muscle relaxant/sedation =4pts
  • T30 - IMV or assisted respirations (with/without PEEP) =3pts

• CURRENT LABELS on TISS FORM: File:TISS76-FORM for ICU citywide2.pdf
  • T27 - blank (TISS form blank however, data remains in this row in the ICU database before May 2000 and is = 4 pts)
  • T28 - blank
  • T29 - A/C, SIMV, PSV with muscle relaxant = 4pts
  • T30 - A/C, SIMV, PSV without muscle relaxant =3pts
  • T31 - Spontaneous CPAP or BIPAP
  • T32 - Spontaneous Resp per E-T tube or Trach

• CURRENT LABELS in MAIN TMSX DATABASE for TISS:
  • T27 - Controlled Ventilation (with/without PEEP)-(data remains in ICU database to approx. May 2000)= 4pts
  • T28 - blank
  • T29 - C.V. continuous muscle relaxant/sedation= 4pts
  • T30 - IMV or assisted respirations (with/without PEEP)=3pts

• T21 - Mast Trouser - discontinued practice in ICU - 1998-99. Taken off ICU TISS form but actual label is still in main ICU database. =4 pts

• T55 - CVVHD added September 23, 1998 =4pts
