- One of the abscess codes (include automated list) eg Skin abscess
- Abscess coding guideline for ICD10
- Abscess of intestine
- Anus or rectum, abscess
- Diverticulitis, small or large intestine (diverticular disease with perforation or abscess)
- Diverticulosis, small or large intestine (diverticular disease without perforation or abscess)
- Intracranial abscess
- Intraspinal abscess
- Kidney, renal abscess or perinephric abscess
- Liver abscess
- Lung abscess
- Mouth, cellulitis or abscess
- Peritonsillar abscess
- Prostate, abscess
- Psoas abscess
- Retroperitoneal abscess
- Retropharyngeal or parapharyngeal abscess
- Skin abscess
- If not available, as <organ infection>, NOS or possibly *itis (eg Sinusitis, acute)
- If not available, as <organ disorder or similar>, NOS combined with Infectious disease NOS
