VIC_N4 will become VIC N4C. Some patients were still on the unit when N4C started on 2017-10-10. Medicine directors wanted to account for these, even though we did not use to collect on this ward. So, patients who were already there will be collected as VIC_N4 until this transition period is over (ie until those patients are discharged).

- N4 was a Family Medicine Unit prior to becoming N4C and is now a TCU (Transitional Care Unit)
Legacy info
see Oct 2017 Vic Med bed change over
- start at serial number at: 10,150 (share with VIC_N4C)
2005-2009 N4
Checked: there are no entries in Centralized_data.mdb that have VIC_N4 as location. This article exists only to explain how it used to be used.
All patients that were initially collected with location VIC_N4 were changed to VIC_S4.
- N4 30 beds
- start date: N4 October 1, 2005
- end date N4: July 31, 2009
- S4-Opened as a CTU August 1, 2009
401-1 to 418-2 was considered 4N which was FM (family medicine ) We did NOT admit FM patients. FYI 417-1 to 417-4 and 418-1 and 418-2 These beds are considered 4N beds but when there is a code PURPLE meaning Beds/Overcensus these beds then become OFF WARD for CTU patients as needed .
