****Selkirk Hospital and Selkirk Mental Health Centre are two different facilities; so if selkirk ward was entered as a preadmit entry, then it would appear the patient originated from Selkirk Hospital not Selkirk Mental Health Centre; is this distinction required? | ****Selkirk Hospital and Selkirk Mental Health Centre are two different facilities; so if selkirk ward was entered as a preadmit entry, then it would appear the patient originated from Selkirk Hospital not Selkirk Mental Health Centre; is this distinction required? | ||

Selkirk Mental Health Centre (SMHC) is a 252-bed facility that provides specialized inpatient mental health and acquired brain injury treatment and rehabilitation services to residents of Manitoba whose challenging needs cannot be met elsewhere in the provincial health care system.
