LAU, or Lower Acuity Units, are wards operated at Vic, Seven Oaks and Concordia by family medicine for lower acuity patients. For our collection purposes, these are WRHA non-medicine wards. We don't collect on these units.
LAU, or Lower Acuity Units, are wards operated at Vic, Seven Oaks and Concordia by family medicine for lower acuity patients. For our collection purposes, these are WRHA non-medicine wards. We don't collect on these units (except for the temporary [[LAU Collection Project]]). However, we do code these separately from other wards in [[Pre-admit Inpatient Institution]], [[Previous Location]] and [[Dispo]].  
 
The [[LAU Collection Project]] generates a patient profile for LAUs.

    • 4S but this is a combined LAU and Geri Rehab ward so you must check the admitting
  • COH_LAU
  • SOH_LAU
