This article contains collection information specific to the CICU (cardiac sciences) at St Boniface.

Unit admission log book
The unit admission log book is kept at the desk and a binder to keep the completed TISS and green sheets as well.
EPR
Electronic Patient Record is used to collect the laboratory and pharmacy data. As well it records admit and discharge times under patient registration.
Fast track
These are cardiac surgery patients expected to be transferred within approximately 24 hours. This is marked on the bottom of the back page of the post cardiac surgery procedure sheet in the IPN section of the chart. This is recorded on the registration paqe variable 6 box.
