Record is field in CCMDB.mdb is used by collectors to "TAG" manually files for various reason.
The Record field is not centrally controlled, and collectors are free to use this as they like.
The values available for this field can be edited in Settings (CCMBD.mdb)
NOTE: This field is different from Record Status field which IS centrally controlled. This field data collectors cannot change at will.
Sent - the only universally used entry
When patients are sent CCMDB.mdb automatically sets the record field to "sent".
Some commonly used entries
- MR - medical records follow up required
- C - COMPLETE - ready to send in files
- W - follow up needed to a ward
- sent - staff are manually adding this for files they sent in.
Legacy
This field used to be used to facilitate deletion of records using the Delete Sent Patients button on the Main Form (CCMDB.mdb). The RecordStatus field is not used for this.
