*46300 used to be the code for sedatives/antidepressants. That's the one I used for antidepressants,however I see on are laptop it is shortened to just sedatives. Discussion about code change
- Tricyclic antidepressants have been mostly replaced by newer antidepressants such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs) and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (NRIs). They occasionally use tricyclics if other meds are not working but this is rare.
