• The options are:
• 1. ICD (defibrillator implant);
• 2. Permanent Pacemaker ( done surgically);
• 3. Temporary pacemaker insertion ( done either with epicardial wires usually only seen in cardiac surgical patients OR transvenously for every other patient.
• 4. Transcutaneous pacing (which is done with external pads placed on the patient chest).
