Biographic changes over time
Names
When people change names, eg marriage, the Data Processor changes all old records to be consistent with the current one.
EPR uses the name used at admission time. Our old records therefore become inconsistent with EPR.
Sex
Sex field#Sex changes over time - we keep value of the earliest encounter we have.
PHIN
- PHIN field#Multiple PHINs or PHIN changes over time - we update earlier encounters to newest value
Cross checks
We also keep track of false positives in our cross-check queries so we can have an explanation for them for future reference, and yet drop them off our cross-check lists.
