Crosschecking data with Manitoba Health
This article explains the process of crosschecking our patient identifier from our database with Manitoba Health Database (MHSC). See Manitoba Health Crosschecking Background for background information on the process.
Sending to MHSC
- data files that are exported from the ICU and Medicine database every 2-3 months
- see Manitoba Health Crosschecking Sending Data for details on the process and a log of activity
Correcting data based on response received
When files are returned, data in Centralized_data.mdb is corrected based on the feedback
- See Manitoba Health Match Indicator Guideline for decision making Guidelines for matched and unmatched data recieved from Manitoba Health.
- Manitoba Health Crosschecking Reconciling Returned Data
typing data into a EXCEL table to report % match/no match from MHSC
- When data is returned from MB Health, after Pagasa runs the Manitoba Health_"Conditioner" program, she counts the number of corrections made in our database for each patient identifier. She manually counts then she enters this information into an EXCEL spreadsheet where info is automatically tallied.
- PURPOSE: statistician would like to keep track of the number of corrections made.
Explain the naming structure, where is the Excel sheet, is the data being used in any way?...Template:Discussion
