The Primary Admit Diagnosis is the most responsible reason why the patient was admitted should be given the highest priority among the Admit Diagnosiss entered into CCMDB.mdb.

Query L Dxs w primary will list these.

The concept of primary diagnosis is used in

  • They are used in the periodic quarter and fiscal year reports of both the Critical Care and Medicine Programs. (Julie)

In the past this would have been the dx with the highest priority. With ICD10, there could be several Combined ICD10 codes. How would we now define primary admit dx? Ttenbergen 12:59, 2017 October 26 (CDT)
