ARF (APACHE)

This applies to the APACHE II ARF checkbox only.

Put a check mark in Acute Renal Failure (ARF) checkbox for ICU APACHE if the following conditions are met:

• for 8 hrs consecutively in the first 24 hrs of ICU admission:
  • creatinine > 133 mmols and
  • urine < 135 cc
