Med Var 5
MED Var 5 is used in the following ways:
- see OVER for details how to put OVZ to code for VIC and GRA medicine
- not used anywhere else as of 2011-01-26
Legacy Data
Med Var 5 was being used at the Vic to help track all the code purple patients admitted to off service areas. We are now using the location EMIP/OVER and the Moves to track the off service medicine patients.

Current options in s_varOptions
Template:Discussion Trish, here is what's in the options table that feeds the dropdown for Var5 Med. If this article is right, then I should be able to get rid of all the VMU ones and the STB ones as well. Is that correct?
If you get a chance, could you look through the actual table in the CCMDB.mdb, I suspect there are entries for other VARs that could be cleaned up as well.
