Scanner

The scanner for processing TISS forms is a Fujitsu model M4097D. It is a full duplex, autofeed scanner capable of scanning a high volume of forms. It is connected to the Teleform PC in the main office. The scanner was purchased in 2003.

The scanner has also been used for other projects.

NOTE: Drivers for this model of scanner are only available for Windows XP and earlier. Should Manitoba eHealth begin migrating to a newer version of desktop operating system, the Teleform PC should not be upgraded unless a compatible driver can be found and installed.
