This page is about the update of Centralized data.mdb to the newer .accdb format.
Reasons to do this
- Most immediately:
- hoping that this might fix the System resource exceeded error
- More generally:
- bringing format up-to-date
- better encryption
Plan
Uncertainties
This file is used in automation and linked data a lot of places. I anticipate that we will not find at least some of them until after the change. I also anticipate that the erros will be fail-safe and noisy, and then easy to fix.
Testing completed
I have converted both ccmdb.mdb and Centralized data.mdb to .accdb and done some basic testing, including sending. It seems to work.
Testing remaining
Julie confirmed that SAS can read .accdbs and that she accesses this data through CFE anyways.
