The following variables are created in the Master Database of Critical Care (TMSX) and/or Medicine Database (MedTMS) and are used in the reports

  • Age in years - see details in Date of Birth
  • Length of Stay in days - see details in LOS
  • Transfer Delay in days
  • APACHE - see details in APACHE Scoring table
    • Total APACHE SCORE
    • Mean Blood Pressure
    • Glasgow Coma Scale
    • Acute Physiological points
    • Age points
    • Chronic Health points
  • TISS Total Scores Day1 to Day10 - this has to be revised depending on TISS76 and TISS28.
  • Total ADL Score based on points 1,3,6 - this has to be changed by points 0,3,6. See details in ADL
  • SAPS - collection of some SAPS elements were discontinued in Dec 2006. See details in SAPS II
