- MNS is an adverse reaction to neuroleptic or antipsychotic drugs characterized by F E V E R:
- F =Temp>38
- E=Encephalopathy
- V=Vitals signs are unstable
- E =Elevated CPKs
- R=Rigidity muscles
Drugs such as Haldol, Chlorpromazine, Metoclopramides, Lithium,and antiparkinson drugs Levodopa can cause MNS.
