Pharmacy hints

• hover - people were having trouble with the hover feature. A few lot of drugs did not have the hover set up when I moved them to check boxes, but now all do. Let me know if there are still problems with the hover. Ttenbergen
• reference sheet - some suggested we add a reference sheet. I could make a button on that screen to bring up a reference sheet. Problem is that would be at least the third copy of this information, leading to problems maintaining consistency. I would be willing to do it if we change the table with the info on the wiki to a plain-text formatted table that I can directly copy-and-paste into Access, e.g. something like

If someone could set up the table on the wiki I will make a form with the content in the app.

Pharmacy screen layout

• I suggest that the drug list that is tick off only be situated at the top of the screen and then put the counted antibiotic drug list at the bottom. --LKolesar 12:15, 2013 April 5 (EDT)

Transfer Tracker

• Marie had ID'd that if she changes a date (admit or discharge date) on her laptop, that it is not updated in transfer tracker. She was made aware that transfer tracker updates itself everyday overnight. Laura suggested that she test pressing the update button to see if profile date is changed in tracker. Date should be updated if auto update to tracker is being done. Not sure if overwriting and changing the date if already in transfer tracker.-Trish Ostryzniuk 19:51, 2013 April 4 (EDT)
  • I had checked the transfer tracker several times over several days to see if the changed date was entered on the transfer tracker (after doing a news and backup)--it was not. However, I sent the file in last week and today the correct date is on the transfer tracker without my having to press the update button. Are changes applied to the transfer tracker only upon pressing the reset button or after sending? Should changes to dates/times on the laptop be visible on the transfer tracker in the morning after the daily auto update is run, without having to press the update button? No, there should not be a problem with corrections. 
The Transfer tracker gets its data from the backup files (i.e. after news and backup), and when the update button is pressed. 
If the button press does not update the line, please let me know unit and patient ID, and I will look into it.

• Yes,there is no reason to have 3 views for the MR list. Please just put one list and just label it "MR list" (the oldest first list should be used). Also, for the format of the form, please put the MR # first, then the pt's last name, then the first name, then the dates, etc. The serial # is OK to be on the form but if you can put it later it would be better. checks for minimal data admit/discharge

• Admit date_time should not be at most one month before the TODAY date; soft check, can click past this one;
  • the check would be run only at edit/entry time, so having a patient who was admitted last year sometime would not be triggered unless you try to edit the box
• disch date_time should not be after the TODAY date; this would be a hard check since it should never happen

Bug Fixes

• Joyce described: When there is a discharge date and no discharge time, the pharmacy day count checker will give an error when there should not be an error. Ttenbergen 15:47, 2013 February 25 (EST)

• Category:Ready-to-fix bug

• with reg already checked, was able to change discharge date to a future date and it didn't uncheck initially; it did catch on trying to final-check, so this is a low-grade bug, just should be fixed eventually. Collection tool improvement requests

• For the MR list. We don't need 3 views of this list. Only one is sufficient (the oldest first list is OK) but it doesn't have to be labeled as such if we only have one view. Also, please put the patients' last name first on the form. Also include the name of the laptop in the printout as this is also helpful especially when covering multiple units who all have chart requests in MR. • yes, it is no longer yellowing the field, just the error box below. Can't find trace of the code, and not sure when it was changed. Ponder whether to re-instate, error checking is still being called and still prevents sending... Ttenbergen 17:13, 2012 January 31 (CST)

Pharmacy Tally

• Would it be possible to have a line showing the cumulative totals of treatment days for the Pharm drugs collected in this field? (as in Labs)10:04, 2012 December 21 (EST)
  • How would this help with collection? I am asking to find out if there might be more to it. For example, are you trying to compare the summary to something else, maybe that can be built in as well. I just need to understand how you would use this. Ttenbergen 10:14, 2012 December 21 (EST)

Previous requests that were not addressed (with reasons)

Default location field to main collection location

There have been requests to default the location field to the main (or only) collection location. I could set this up, but defaulting these would increase the chances of the data just being left in there if a patient is an exception. Upon consultation with Trish it was decided not to risk an increase in errors to make this more convenient.

PS: If I enable defaulting for anywhere then I would not be able to disable defaulting for other locations, so it was decided not to have defaulting. Cancel for Settings

change the settings form to have a save and a cancel button...

No can do. There are is a sb-form in settings form that would not be cancelled, so having a cancel would be misleading.

APACHE lab value limit change request

• Apache upper limit for creatinine is 2968, which is based on the highest APACHE that was ever in database. STB has one pt with a creat of 3000 and has requested to change upper limit. Laura K. --TOstryzniuk 12:12, 6 July 2010 (CDT)
