Transition Care Unit

Oct 3, 2017 - this unit is scheduled to become a transition care unit - TCU with 24 beds. We will collecting on this ward starting on this date.

Not yet assigned

A data collector for this unit is not yet assigned.

Implementation

  • add VIC_N4 to s_dispo table to both Pam and Shirley's laptop
    • Pam and Shirley to get back to Trish by Sept 19 as to which ward will be their primary. S5 or N5.Trish Ostryzniuk 16:11, 2017 September 14 (CDT)
    • Template:Discussion The s_dispo is the same on all laptops. I suspect you mean it should be available as a service/location for them to enter on those laptops? I will assume that is what you meant and change it like that. If that was right, pls remove the discussion (and request since done). Is that's not what you meant, we need to talk. Template:Discussion

  • I added line to S_Dispo table with center number = 247 and service_type = TCU. Julie, will that work? Ttenbergen 22:55, 2017 September 14 (CDT)

Legacy info

2005-2009 N4

There are no entries in Centralized_data.mdb that have VIC_N4 as location. This article exists only to explain how it used to be used.

All patients that were initially collected with location VIC_N4 were changed to VIC_S4.

  • N4 30 beds
  • start date: N4 October 1, 2005
  • end date N4: July 31, 2009
  • S4-Opened as a CTU August 1, 2009

401-1 to 418-2 was considered 4N which was FM (family medicine ) We did NOT admit FM patients. FYI 417-1 to 417-4 and 418-1 and 418-2 These beds are considered 4N beds but when there is a code PURPLE meaning Beds/Overcensus these beds then become OFF WARD for CTU patients as needed .
