==Purpose of sending data to MHSC==
This article explains the process of crosschecking our patient identifier from our database with Manitoba Health Database (MHSC). See [[Manitoba Health Crosschecking Background]] for background information on the process.
*for crosschecking our database patient identifiers (PHIN, FN, LN, DOB, Gender) against MHSC database
*aligning and correcting our patient ID information with MHSC
*maintaining consistency of key patient identifiers in our database when a patient is readmitted.
*Nov.12: included: Medicine Only: "Date of admission" to PCH (Primary Care Home)

*When data is returned from MB Health, after Pagasa runs the [[Manitoba Health_"Conditioner"]] program, she counts the number of corrections made in our database for each patient identifier. She manually counts then she enters this information into an EXCEL spreadsheet where info is automatically tallied.
*PURPOSE: statistician would like to keep track of the number of corrections made.
