* The Last Opened automatic time stamp is a falsehood in regards to the last time I physically had the chart in my hands and worked on a particular file. See last patient record in picture…I opened this file to check something while I was in the office. I did not have the chart in my hot little hands! (per email from Con)
** What we are hoping for from our end is to understand when you guys last reviewed a file. Ideally this would replace the common but not universal practice of putting that date into the [[Notes field]]. As a date field we can also sort and filter with it, which is useful for data collectors and for the main office. Ideally I wanted to make this so there are no extra steps for you to update this. Is there anything you would do while in the patient viewer, every time and only when you actually review a chart? How do we best update this so it's the least hassle to collectors? ***I think that it should be something that the data collector initiates when she is physically updating a chart...such as clicking on a button. We often open up our patient files to enter a lab value, clarify a diagnosis, add something to the note to remind us to check on something in particular, etc. Otherwise we will think that a chart has been updated when in actuality it has not been touched for quite some time. This could potentially cause us to miss collecting bits of data.--[[User:CMarks|CMarks]] 14:15, 2016 March 29 (CDT)
