VAP should only be Acquired Diagnosis on the first encounter. There have not so far been any validated re-acquisitions during the same stay.
We decided that VAP can actually happen in medicine if pt admitted from ICU. How would we deal with that for this check? What do we even mean by encounter, now with patientFollow? |
