We chose to include specific code [[Aspirin or other salicylate, overdose/poisoning]] because its far more common and dangerous than [[Nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID), overdose/poisoning]].

I chose to include specific code for Salicylate overdose because its far more common and dangerous than overdose with other NSAIDs.  T39.0 is part of a larger code T39 which is poisoning with "salicylate or nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug".  So our choices are some combination, for both of the poisoning/overdose and adverse effect to:  not split out salicylates for either; split out salicylates for one only; split out salicylates for both}}
