Possible values are listed in the dropdown box in the CCMDB.mdb, which is driven by the S varOptions table.
If the specific ward you are admitting from is not available on this list use "OTH". Please also note down the ward list it here.

MAP
Tina and Pagasa will purge; Pagasa to set time. Ttenbergen 16:56, 2014 December 17 (CST)
- "MAP" would have been entered into Var 2 for those ICU patients with an myocardial infarction (MI) who have been put on the MI Care Map
- started November 2004
- ended 2010-Oct-29
- when this was used if both BRR and MAP were used coding BRR took precedence over MAP.
Lead-up to this becoming legacy
- CCU MAP in this variable is likely unnecessary as all patient who have an acute MI are automatically put on the acute MI care map.--LKolesar 11:34, 18 June 2008 (CDT)
- in 2004/05 when MI care MAP was first introduced, Betty Lou Rock wanted to track if it was being applied at all sites consistently. It has been discussed that at some sites, the MI care map is not applied consistently. Need to follow this up with the Database Steering Committee and see if they would like us to stop tagging MAP and relegate the code to the legacy category.

- Another thing that I believe could be eliminated is acute care map in variable 2. Betty Lou had mentioned in a meeting a few years ago that this was no longer necessary. All patient who have acute MI are on the care map. This is just an unnecessary piece of data to add. --LKolesar 14:52, 27 October 2010 (CDT)--
- Trish/Julie, can this be a "go"? If so, please update in Requested_CCMDB_changes_for_the_next_version#Remove care map Var 2, update this article and remove this discussion. Ttenbergen 14:13, 28 October 2010 (CDT)

- It was noticed that in Var 2 (at HSC medicine) PX2 PX3 and PY3 are mentioned a couple of times, we only d/c, admit, pt to/from PY3S and PY3N, and PX2S and PX2N do you want to keep these units separate or categize them as PY3 meaning this is the 3rd floor, and PX2 meaning this is the second floor? We also have RR3 which is not an impatient unit.--PStein 13:58, 2012 December 19 (EST)
- will confirm with Trish what should be collected. Ttenbergen 16:37, 2012 December 19 (EST)
- I agree we should make it more simple. Will will change it to: PSY. We won't distinguish between X, Y, North or South. Tina, can you change this in ICU Var1 & ICU Var2 please.Trish Ostryzniuk 16:59, 2012 December 19 (EST)
