This code can be used as Dx_Type as follows:

actually, do we ever want to see this used as admit? eg for someone who was not able to access services because of no fixed address? There would almost always be a specific medical dx, so wondering if this should ever be an admit. The outcome of this will likely bear on Controlling Dx Type for ICD10 codes. - Acquired Diagnosis / Complication -e.g. eviction from premises during hospital stay and patient has no supports/alternative location to discharge to.
Template:Discussion Is this an admit or a comorbid Dx or both? Lois
- I will use as both when relevant to their admissions...ie-Chronic OMs and wound infections-assaults etc. and in disposition-when wound care/IV antibiotics/ADLs are required and they have no support systems-unable to access Home Care without an address--Llemoine 07:36, 2018 August 9 (CDT)
- how would you use this as a disposition? Ttenbergen 16:09, 2018 August 13 (CDT)
