Log
- 2022-02-17 - added Past history, cancer (any type), believed cured to allowed duplicates
- 2022-02-16 - excluded additional allowed duplication scenarios
- 2022-02-10 - the list to count had included lines for each category so there was much duplication. Broke out query to generate unique values first, now count works

Encountered a scenario in comorb dx list whereby Past history, removal of organ NOS combined with 1) Disorder of spleen, NOS then a separate entry combined with 2) Postpartum hemorrhage for the removal of two different organs triggered the duplicate ICD error. Should this code be added to the exclusion list or coded differently? Thanks! Encountered a scenario whereby a direct admit patient from another facility with both Nosocomial infection, NOS uti AND Nosocomial infection, NOS pneumonia triggered the ICD 10 duplicate dx error. |
