The mediawiki software we use in this wiki contains some structured data stored via extensions Semantic Mediawiki and [1].

Many of the lists on the wiki are not stored explicitly, but generated via query through one of those extensions.

When you edit a page, sometimes other pages containing its data don't update immediately. There is a More tab with a Refresh option at the top of the page that allows you to force a refresh for any lists or tables using queries. You can always click that to get the most up-to-date version of the data.

In a few cases, it is more complicated. We have some pages where a query is used to list what should be on a page, and that content is then used to populate additional data. So you would need to edit page (a), then refresh page (b), and then again refresh page (a) to get an edit on page (a) to show on page (a).

Check query pages

Pages documenting our Data Integrity Checks, which are listed in Category:Data Integrity Checks, use Template:Data Integrity Check List to list relevant pages on dx, data element or similar pages. These lists are based on listings of pages on the check pages. In some cases, diagnoses like those in Category:Infection requiring pathogen are listed on the check pages via query. In that case, an edit of the dx page would need to be followed by a refresh on all related check pages, and a further refresh on the edited dx page, to properly show the listing.

There are almost definitely other page systems where this applies.
