Moves related to EMIP

However, a VMU or CTU patient may first go to an off service ward from ER and then get moved to a VMU or CTU ward, this is tracked by our Moves for Medicine data. Their first move captures the admit time to the off service ward, and their second move captures the time they move to the VMU or CTU ward.***This is no longer being done it was removed in the laptopwhen the ER wait was introduced.

  • Is this now tracked as ER Wait? If so please change the link above. Template:DiscussionTtenbergen 13:09, 27 July 2011 (CDT)**Since we started the ER wait we no longer enter in the laptop our 2nd move or on our log sheets We enter the time and date the pt was accepted onto the medicine service then the ER wait is the time the pt physically arrives onto the unit even though it is on an off service ward VMU /CTU is following the pt and then the physical move to a CTU/VMU bed is not recorded. If the pt was discharged from the off service bed it would change and the pt would become an OVER.
