Forms filled inconsistently
- It was noted at a ICU Task Group meeting 2011-12-09 that having only nights staff entering the TISS is a huge problem because the majority of patients are discharged from the unit during the day shift. Also there are short stay patient being admitted for only a period of time during the day can be missed that way. The task team has recommend that all shift participate in completing the TISS form on their shift for the calender date. (Laura K). In October 2012, Trish provided Jodi with stats that showed the % of discharges during days shift, which also represent the high number of TISS dates not done because of the misunderstanding that it is night shift job only.Trish Ostryzniuk 22:01, 2012 November 29 (EST)

Data collector form checking problems
Variation across centres
- As LKolesar points out, there is variation in how the TISS is collected in different centers. Is this something we should look at? Ttenbergen 00:04, 27 May 2008 (CDT)
site compliance issue
- collector have good relationship with staff in unit they work in. They will continue to provide feedback to staff on as needed basis.
- data collectors should discuss compliance issue to be emailed to ICU manager.
- if this is a problem anywhere we could do the same kind of tracking in tmp as we do for overstay... Template:Potential Change Ttenbergen 19:49, 2014 April 30 (CDT)
