**Please use the hospital previous number codes as provided in the Access drop down list. **There are codes for all Manitoba hospitals. If one appears to be missing, contact [[Trish Ostryzniuk]] to find out if a different one should be used or if a new one needs to be added to the list.
**In addition to the Manitoba hospital number codes there are codes that can be use for patient who are admitted from outside of the province, country or continent.

* If a patient comes from another hospital for example from Gimli ER, then the pt goes to the ER at your hospital, and Medicine has accepted the patient as a direct admission- you put "admitted from XE". If the intention was to directly admit from the sending facility, then in the tmp file put in the move time to the ward. At the bottom of the tmp file put "parked in ER".
If a patient is admitted from another hospital's ER via ER at your hospital and Medicine has accepted the patient as a direct admission then enter a tmp entry as per instructions in [[ER Wait]].

The Hospital previous field contains the previous hospital for patients who were admitted from another hospital outside of Winnipeg.

The Hospital previous field contains the previous hospital for any patients who were admitted from another hospital outside of Winnipeg. The field name is abbreviated to Hospital Prev in the registry screen in CCMDB.accdb.

If a patients admitted from a hospital outside the city, province or country, a value needs to be entered into this field.

Admission from ER at other hospitals

If a patient is admitted from another hospital's ER via ER at your hospital and Medicine has accepted the patient as a direct admission then enter a tmp entry as per instructions in ER Wait.
