The Survive / Expired field used to track if a patient survived to be discharged. Options are Survive, Expire.
2016 Time and Place changes
The data in this field will be collected in the Dispo field after the Category: 2016 Time and Place changes. It will have several "died - ..." options.
Data encoding
The field name in Centralized_data.accdb and CCMDB.accdb is R_SurviveExpire.
Legacy Data
This field used to also encode whether a deceased patient had had an Autopsy. These were rolled into the "expire" option. This wass one field in CCMDB.accdb. It wass two fields (survive/expire) and (autopsy) in TMSX and MedTMS. It was implemented as a single field to prevent the combination survive/autopsy.
