This is a project that tracks (tags) any ACCU patients' that technically would have been under the care of Cardiology Service (ACCU) at STB when overflowing physically into STB CICU or MICU unit however, they are now under the care of:

• Cardiac Surgery Service if in CICU or
• Medical Service if in the MICU.

ACCU's directors/manager want to track this information as they are working towards obtaining funding for increase beds

Because ACCU had exceeded it's bed capacity (8 beds and it's limit on number of vent pts) therefore, these patients are physically in STB CICU or STB MICU and no longer under ACCU Cardiolgy Service.

This is different than the ACCU borrow Project.

Data Collection Instructions

Use tmp fields:

• Dispo Tab
  • Service/Location field enter: will be the physical unit that the patient is located on: either STB CICU or STB MICU.
    • See: STB Cardiac Care patients

If moves out from STB MICU or STB CICU to ACCU, create a new profile.

• End: there is no planned end date - until we hear from collector and STB that this has changed.
