Laptop Setup

Laptop setup will now be taken care of by eHealth. Refer them to

• EHealth's CCMDB laptop setup instructions

need to include MSCOMCT2.ocx error but do when I get rid of bitlocker instructions

• • in the process they run Regional Server\maintenance\Desktop_install.bat
• and the appropriate printer from Printers - ask to set up local printer as per link, for all users

• Encrypting SD card using BitLocker
• Wireless networking - the laptop needs to be added to a group to make this work

Retrieve Data

If restoring for a previously collected location:

• see CCMDB data.mdb restore from the SD Card

OR

• see CCMDB data.mdb restore from Regional Server

Testing

• printer
• access to SD card on D:\ via desktop shortcut
• test news and backup
  • if problem confirm/change location settings
    • right-click edit the icon, make sure line starting with set ml= has the correct location in it
  • confirm copy to SD Card and to data directory on regional server

• confirm autoupdates are enabled in Firefox
