HSC CAU is the Clinical Assessment Unit at HSC (further info on CAUs).
HSC Specific CAU Information
At HSC the CAU is part of the emergency medicine department. and is currently not inpatient location.
HSC is treating it as an extension of the ER. Plans to change model of care sometimes in 2018.
