Teleform
Teleform is a character recognition program used by the Data Processor to scan completed TISS forms before importing the data into the TISS database. We use a network scanner for this.

The software package is installed locally to:

Teleform Version
Files Used
The programs used with regular frequency are:
Description | Executable |
---|---|
Designer | tfdesign.exe |
Scan Station | tfscnstn.exe |
Reader | tfreader.exe |
Verifier | tfverify.exe |
The Data Processor uses all of the above executable files and requires short-cuts to be available on the desktop.
Designer
New form are developed and existing forms are modified using Designer. Once the design has been completed and activated, the form serves as a master template against which data collection forms of that set are evaluated and verified after they are scanned. The Scan Station, Reader, and Verifier are collectively used for this purpose.
