*AG REPLY -- First, no single code in ICD10 will equal old code 3003.  To make that code you'd have to combine a code for acute resp failure with it's cause. But beyond this, there is confusion, not just between J22 and J40, but for all the upper and lower respiratory stuff.  So, I've done a bunch of stuff:
