To be exact we would need to use sequence 1-30, which may be harder to follow for collectors.  '''Will trial number sequence and distribution with 1-11 first and see how it goes.''')
**Due to the COVID outbreak, we are unable to go to the units to log in our admissions. For the time being, we are printing out 2 EPR Reports lists:  admissions/transfers for MICU and andmissions/transfers for SICU. Each list is numbered with the 1-11 sequence to divide the workload.

HSC ICUs use the following locations and split work in the following ways.

Laptops

  • ((vacant))'s laptop

How is the workload split?

Laptop identifier

    • TOTAL EFT: 2.05 EFT
  • H9 laptop (a): (0.75/2.05)x 100 - 36.6% (will do 36.6% of all ICU patient admitted).
  • H8 laptop (b): (0.55/2.05) x 100 = 27% (will do 27% of all ICU patient admitted).
  • H7 laptop (d): (0.75/2.05)x 100 - 36.6% (will do 36.6% of all ICU patient admitted).

The admissions in each ICU logbook (MICU and SICU) are numbered consecutively 1-11, and then starting at 1 again. • Due to the COVID outbreak, we are unable to go to the units to log in our admissions. For the time being, we are printing out 2 EPR Reports lists: admissions/transfers for MICU and andmissions/transfers for SICU. Each list is numbered with the 1-11 sequence to divide the workload.

In practice the sequence of 11 will be divided between the three laptops liked this:

Legacy IICU

Since the IICU census increased to 8 beds, we are splitting the workload as follows:

  • ICUa laptop - 3 patients
  • ICUd laptop - 3 patients
  • ICUb laptop - 2 patients

This ward/unit uses HSC ICU locations and serial number sharing/workload splitting locations as follows:

  • HSC_IICa started: 2015-May-01
  • HSC_IICb started: 2015-Aug-05

Implementation

2015-04-29 for laptop a, b, d

History

Started on May 1, 2015. Patients already entered onto your laptop prior to this start date did not have the location changed.

The b laptop used to be the SICU one.

All locations started at serial number 150. See: Start with NEW serial number at 150
