This dataset contains data in support of the LAU Collection Project.

The date/time that OT and PT are consulted and the date/time they sign off or discharged from OT/PT

Data Collection

• For any record collected as part of LAU Collection Project, enter the date and time of the first OT and PT consult and the date and time of the last sign-off/discharge from OT/PT

Data Entry Instructions

For every LAU Collection Project, one line with Project = "OTPT Consults" and item = "not entered" will automatically be entered. Update that line to one of the following:

• Project: OTPT Consults - Item: "OT First"
• Project: OTPT Consults - Item: "PT First"
• Project: OTPT Consults - Item: "OT Last"
• Project: OTPT Consults - Item: "PT Last"
• Project: OTPT Consults - Item: "no consult" (cross-check item if there were no consults)

• Date/Time:
  • dttm of the consult
  • first Service tmp entry for first consult if pt arrived with a consult in progress
• If sign off or discharge dttm is not found then use the dttm of the last documented progress note

Do we want an instruction if sign-off isn't found? Can I use the no consult entry? there is only one of those, so if more than one thing is missing we might not catch it. Aside from that, this would work. So, might be good enough. So I interpreted this differently, not sure why or how but what I collected was the first date and time seen by OT/PT (not the consult dttm) and then the last time seen or sign off by OT/PT, For Geri rehab and pretty much all LAU patients the consults are done as part of the admission process. The exception is some of the patients will not be seen by one or the other or both if they are "too good" Lisa Kaita 07:06, 11 April 2025 (CDT)

Do we want that cross-check entry? Do we need one for each or is a simple "no consult" if there is neither consult sufficient? I think so OK, will set up Query check_Project_OT_PT_Consults If the entry is missing then they were not seen, I don't think a cross check was set up for this, because it did not trigger any errors Lisa Kaita 07:06, 11 April 2025 (CDT)

Background

• When we realized we would do Project Consults data we contacted Nick whether we want additional consults, and possibly for other than LAU.
• he would like OT/PT first consult and when they sign off Lisa Kaita 21:03, 10 March 2025 (CDT)
• decision made to break out the LAU OT/PT consults to a separate project
• considered and decided that we will not include SLP, mostly so we can get started with the project rather get delayed further waiting for an answer
