- "CCI collect each day" items are entered each time they happen
- Px Date
- if an Acquired Procedure, enter the Px Date for each day that they happen
- if an Admit Procedure leave the date blank
- Px Count
- enter 1 regardless of how many times a day the procedure happened
- this is usually the collection mode for TISS28 items, see TISS28 Collection Guide, and for some items that have replaced TISS items

Code peripheral PICC lines
- Kendiss Olafson confirmed that PICC lines that are noted on x-ray to be peripheral are still to be coded in our TISS as a central line. They still carry the same implications for nursing workload and have the same risk for infection, so for purposes of TISS and CL-BSI counting, these PICCs should be treated as central.--Michelle Lagadi--2015 September 16.
