Current hardware includes a tower PC with a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. A [[scanner|duplex scanner]] is attached via SCSI interface (Adaptec AHA-2940AU) to the PC. This scanner is capable of processing a batch of TISS forms in a single pass. To operate the software, a USB key is required.
The following file needs to be manually copied from old computer to new.

New form are developed and existing forms are modified using Designer. Once the design has been completed and activated, the form serves as a master template against which data collection forms of that set are evaluated and verified after they are scanned. The Scan Station, Reader, and Verifier are collectively used for this purpose.

Teleform is a character recognition program used by the Data Processor to scan completed TISS forms before importing the data into the TISS28_Data.mdb. We use a network scanner for this.

  • Export the current settings by opening TeleForm Maintenance and Utility.
    • Select Save snapshot
    • Select the categories you want to save
    • Click on the ... button to the right of Path and select the location to save the .zip file that contains the configuration files.
    • To restore the configuration, open TeleForm Maintenance and Utility on the new workstation and run Restore Snapshot.
