This article provides general information about collecting and coding a CCI Procedure.
They are entered in CCMDB.mdb in the L CCI subform on the Patient viewer tab ICD10.
There are some ICD10 Diagnoses and CCI Codes that need to be coded together.
Collection Instructions
CCI Procedures are encoded as three components, corresponding to the three dropdown boxes in L CCI subform. Fill in the first one (which will constrain the others to related ones in the future, Tina needs to implement still Template:Discussion) then the second and the third.
No procedures were done
If no procedures or imaging were performed during the stay, enter No procedure performed.
