An CCI Procedure is a therapy, diagnostic intervention or imaging that follows the CCI coding scheme. We collect these following the CCI collection instructions.

We only use a subset, see CCI Procedure List. The full list and additional info can be found

Template:Discussion is the master full list available online? Ttenbergen 16:51, 2017 November 13 (CST)

Template:Discussion is that true, do we only use a partial list of these? If so we need to build the following redlink following template Reasoning around our subset of ICD10 diagnoses. Ttenbergen 16:51, 2017 November 13 (CST)

See Reasoning around our subset of CCI Procedures for why we only use some.

Data representation

Our CCI codes are sets of letters and numbers of the format <number between 1-3>.<2 letters>.<2 numbers>.<optionally more letters>, e.g. 1.AB.23.CD

We encode these components in three fields as a single record in L CCI table:

  • CCI_1_ID - first component, <number between 1-3>.<2 letters>
  • CCI_2_ID - second component, <2 numbers>
  • CCI_3_ID - third component, <optionally more letters>

For each of those fields, a user of the data on the front end will see a description of the meaning of the chosen code. If the dropdown field is activated, the CCI Code component is seen as well. The actual data stored is a long integer unique ID that resolves to the corresponding s_CCI 3 table, s_CCI 2 table, s_CCI 1 table.

Query L CCI Resolver can be used to see the actual CCI code.
