  • Use this for removal of something "natural" (as opposed to Removal of Foreign Body).
  • The "something natural" could be:
    • loose body
    • stone (e.g. gallstone, kidney stone)
    • tooth
    • gland (e.g. parotid gland)
    • impacted stool
    • calcium deposits
    • vascular thrombus or embolism or atheroma which includes
      • endarterectomy
      • thrombectomy
      • removal of thrombus or embolism from within a blood vessel
