*Noted there can be up to a 1 hour delay between when collector SENDS data to centralized.mdb and when SEND PHI files shows up on X to be moved into PHI.mdb?  What the heck is with this long delay?  This occurred with STB E5 (1 hr delay) and SICU (30 mins delay) TODAY.  Pagasa, has now revealed that she has always noted delays, but had not mentioned it that she noted at times it shows up eventually.    It is good to note this is an additional reason why PHI.mdb and L_log don't match...........for some reason you have to wait for it.  [[User:TOstryzniuk|Trish Ostryzniuk]] 14:16, 2015 April 17 (CDT)

  • added indices for firstname, lastname, phin and chart, to speed up linking tables.

How PHI data travels

  1. regular data enter into CCMDB.accdb by collector
  2. at sending, query send_PHI is called to export all (ie not only complete) records to Regional Server\Output\_PHI
    • this means that previously sent data will get updated, e.g. if a name or PHIN is corrected or added
  3. PHI copy automation: a scheduled task uses Copy PHI.bat to move the files to X:\CCMDB\PHI and to import it into x:\CCMDB\PHI\PHI.mdb
  4. PHI.mdb can be re-linked with Centralized data.mdb using Centralized_data_front_end.accdb

Availability

PHI.mdb might not be available at its network location between the hours of 10:30 to 17:00 CST. See Pull down centralized data.vbs if it needs to be retrieved locally.
