The type of a CCI procedure (comorbid, admit or acquired)
The Px_Count is coded as part of the CCI Collection.
Default value = 1
Example: if on Tuesday the patient had 3 separate CXRs, you only have to enter this once for that day, but indicate 3 of them were done.
Several same procedures in one sitting
When something was done multiple times at ONE SITTING, that counts as just ONE.
Example:
- a CXR comprising two views of the chest counts as one;
- a debridement of two areas of skin done at one sitting counts as one, but if one of those is done in the morning and the other in the afternoon that counts as two.
