ICU Collection Elements

Data collection in ICU and Medicine is largely similar, as noted in the Critical Care and Medicine Database Core Curriculum, but there are a few different elements in ICU.

ICU Service Attendings and Admissions

There is an "A', "B" and "C or outreach physician" The outreach physician is responsible for rounding on JJ3 patients and new consults are seen by A, B, C or housestaff depending on how busy the unit is.
