Tina, I change this to be consistent with the new Parked in ER article as you have mentioned in your email - but then I realized I should not have changed it because this was the old instruction we had which must end Oct 16, 2020. for patient arriving at a ward/unit via parked in ER

• Previous Location field, enter the previous physical location of the patient
  • From an inpatient location- the Pre-admit Inpatient Institution and the Previous Location will be the same e.g. Selkirk Ward
  • Not from an inpatient location- the Pre-admit Inpatient Institution would be not applicable and the Previous Location would be their last physical location e.g. Thompson ER
• The Visit Admit DtTm field and the Accept DtTm field will be the same
• in Tmp Boarding Loc enter the <site>_ER the patient was parked, the date and time will be the same as the Visit Admit DtTm field and the Accept DtTm field
• in Service tmp entry enter the accepting service, with the same date/time as the Accept DtTm field
• Service/Location would be <site>_Med, <site>_CC, STB MICU, STB_ICCS, STB_ACCU.

for patient transferring to another ward or unit of same service

• in Tmp Boarding Loc enter another line for the next location and the arrive date and time on that location.

for patient transferring to another ward or unit of different service

• Into Dispo, enter the new ward/unit that the patient will go to.
